HOW TO USE THE MEASUREMENT
In the showroom, sit in the selected sofa in a normal relaxed viewing posture. Measure finished floor to the eyes, targeting 1,170 mm and accepting 1,160–1,180 mm. The supplied seat-to-eye rise is approximately 770 mm, so approximately 400 mm is the arithmetic loaded-seat starting point, not a universal sofa specification. At home, position the sofa so relaxed seated eyes are 2,650 mm from the TV wall, equivalent to approximately 2,587 mm from the screen face. Use the final delivered sofa footprint to set the coffee-table gap, rug, behind-sofa storage and kitchen-side circulation.
